IT'S A . . . . . .

Well, some may know and some may not, but I am pregnant. I'm almost 21 weeks. So I went and had my ultrasound yesterday and everything looks great. Joanne and Marianne came on the condition that when the tech said to look away (if there was a chance of seeing the sex) that they would. So we all went and heard a cute little heartbeat, saw cute little hands and feet, skinny legs and arms, ear lobes and even the lips. Pretty cool. So we went and saw but pretty much the only thing we saw is that Ben and I are going to have a healthy boy or girl at the beginning of November. So just think of how fun it will be to be at the hopsital right after I have the baby and Ben come out and announce, "It's a . . . . . " what fun anticipation.
We all have our predictions
Sam thinks it is a girl, or more like she knows its a girl.
Ben is hoping for a boy.
Mason probably wants a boy so he can have a buddy to play cars and balls instead of tea party and dress up.
I will be happy with whichever comes. Just as long as it is healthy and strong.

By the way if you are wondering why Ben didn't come to the ultrasound, he just figures he'd been once before (yes only once I surprised him and went early to find out when I was pregnant with Sam) and since we aren't finding out, he just wanted to know that the baby was fine!

We love to see the Temple . . . . REALLY!

Samantha and Mason love to see the temples around the valley and sing the song, but Mason especially LOVES to see the temple. If we are coming home from anywhere and heading down 17th east to our neighborhood we see the Draper Temple and he makes sure to let us know that he has seen it. If we are heading anywhere on the freeway, either direction, Mason looks to find the Draper or Jordan River Temple. When we go out to my sister Rebekah's house we are right across from the Oquirrh Mountain Temple andwe have to stop and notice it. Actually we don't have to notice any of these temples, but we do because Mason gets so excited and such a cute look on his face when we see them or talk about them. We were sitting in my moms family room and Mason noticed the Salt Lake Temple above the fire place and right then we sang I love to see the Temple.
So as you can see, we love the temples. Maybe we are even a bit obsessed, not such a bad thing to be obsessed about but really cute. The other day it was just Mason and I running errands and of course we had seen the Draper Temple and we started talking about the temple and here is out cute little conversation . . .
mom "Mason do you want to go to the temple some day?"
mason (in such a cute little voice) "Yea!"
mom "Do you want to go with Mommy and Daddy?"
mason "Sammi too?!"
Oh my heck, break your heart cute! Of course I told him that of course Sammi could come with us to the temple. It was the cutest thing ever, and then Ben told me something almost as cute one night after he put Mason to bed.
So Mason has bunkbeds in his room, and he sleeps on the bottom bunk and looks up at the beautiful bottom bunk. Well, Ben came out one night and told me that Mason told Ben that he wanted a picture of the temple in his room. Cute right? Then Ben told me where he wants the picture. He wants it on the underneath of top bunk so when Mason lays in bed he can look up and see it. And he tells me thats where he wants it all the time. "Temple ... Bunkbed . . ."So dang cute, I can't stand it.
Well, I just love the cute little obsession or whatever it is that he has with the temples. Probably just a sweet little boy that is more pure and closer to the spirit than me. Just love my Mason!
