Catch Up!

I feel like since Mason's birthday it has been a whirlwind! Lots has been going on. Mason shares a birthday with his cousin Stillman, so Grandma B treated all the kids to Jungle Gyms and they had a blast. I wasn't quite sure if Mason would like it ( I knew Sam would love it), but he went on all the rides. While he was on the rides he didn't look like he was having fun, but after he got off we asked him if it is was fun and he would always say yea!

My sister Jessica got tickets to the Utah Flash Basketball game. Jessica, Spencer, Hilary, Nicholas, Rebecca, and us went and it was so much fun. Mason was glued the entire time. Sam was more worried about the Fox mascot coming and spraying us with silly string again, but Mason just loved every minute of it. He especially loved the balloon that flies out and drops little prizes. He's been talking about the "loon at the ba ball game" ever since. He is so darn cute.

We celebrated my mom's birthday on March 29th. It was such a great weekend. My dad surprised her and flew out my sister Heather and my aunt (mom's sisters) Colleen. It was a non-stop party from Thursday - Sunday. We didn't do much, but we had a blast. I got sitters 3 of the nights, and it was so nice to just go and play games, talk and just hang out. During the weekend my dad took all the grandkids to look at some baby birds, like ducks or geese or qual. Well, he ended up getting 8 little baby qual. I'm not quite sure what he is going to do with them, but all the kids ( especially Mason) love looking at them. It's funny, they can sit there forever and just stare at the baby birds. I guess kinda like we can just sit and stare at babies, interesting. Ever since all Mason can talk about are the little baby birds. And he says it in a high little cute voice and puts his hands up close to his mouth. All in all it was such a great birthday weekend. I just love my mom so much. She is everything to me!!!

Confrence weekend was awesome. I felt like my kids just played and I was able to just listen and learn. It was great. Sunday we celebrated my brother Taylor's birthday. (lots of birthday's, I guess that's what happens when you have a big family) We all got together again and had dinner and cake and icecream. My brothers and sisters are great. I love the different conections and relationships I have with each of them. I love you Taylor!

And to finish off my long, lengthy catch up . . . . last Wednesday my brother Micah got his mission all to Boston Massachusetts speaking Haitian Creole ( probably spelled that wrong). He leaves June 10th. I can't believe he is about old enough to go, but he will be a great missionary. We will miss him, and the kids will really miss him. He is so cute with Sam and Mason, they love seeing him.

And now it's Easter Sunday. We have seen both our families and the kids are worn out from playing, eating treats and missing naps. It is nice to have them down so Ben and I can just relax and hang out. Happy Easter to all!!!!
